Who is B.Y.E.
ENTERTAINMENT?
Between Your Ears Entertainment is the marketing operation
for “The Morris Brothers” intellectual property
rights. Between Your Ears Entertainment is actively scheduling
live school performances, developing FCC friendly projects
for children’s educational television, developing feature
films, creating children’s merchandise and other learning
tools for the youth of America utilizing “The Morris
Brothers” characters.
Who are the Morris
brothers?
The Morris Brothers are inventors; they wear plaid pants,
pocket protectors, taped glasses and their hair stands straight
up. This dynamic duo looks like nerds, but don’t think
they’re nerds. After an explosion in their underground
tree house, they were transformed into social superheroes.
To them, N.E.R.D. stands for Never Ending Radical Dudes. They
teach it’s not what you look like but how you feel about
yourself that’s important. They want kids to believe
in themselves and their abilities, to stand up for their beliefs
and strive for high ideals by teaching on self esteem, peer
pressure, character traits, bullying, drug prevention and
friendship.
What is the 45
minute performance about?
Currently there are Four (4) assembly programs; (1) Drug Prevention,
(2) Bullying, (3) Character Education and a (4) TAKS preparation
rally. All are year round programs that also discuss self
esteem, peer pressure, friendship and making good choices.
Three to four live songs are performed that relate to these
specific topics. It’s a high energy, audience participating
comedy presentation aimed to please and teach students and
teachers alike.
Is the performance
age appropriate for the entire school to attend?
Yes, the entire school (k-5) can attend one 45 minute assembly.
It’s perfectly suited to fit the social and emotional
needs of all age ranges in your elementary school.
Can I split my grades
into two performances?
The Morris Brothers can entertain up to 1,000 students at
a time. But, if you feel your school is too large for a single
performance, then you can break your elementary school into
performance #1 with grades (pk-2) and performance #2 with
grades (3-5). Both programs must be held back to back in either
the morning or afternoon. A price discount will be given for
the second performance at your school.
Where does the performance
take place in my school?
The school assembly can be held in your Gym or on your Cafeteria
stage. The students are asked to sit cross legged on the floor
with an isle down the middle of the audience.
When can I book a performance?
Performances can be booked anytime, as far in advance as you
wish during normal a school year. Family Fun Nights can also
be booked for PTA nights or special events.
